We love these!!!! Wish there were more, as well as name tags for people!!! Thanks for posting Marty, love the sound clips.

Thank you , thank you, thank you, Marty!! These videos are so precious and so well done!! I remember Grandma`s 60th party. very well. In the video, The Farm, the young girl with the LONG braids is Mary Jane Carlin, daughter of Ann and Joe Carlin.( Grandma`s brother) The two girls that are not Mary Lynn and Nancy O`Donnell are, I believe, Sheila and Carol Smith, Grandma`s nieces, daughters of Rose Carlin Smith. The short older man in white shirt and suspenders and the taller stout wife are Grandma Sweeeney`s parents. This is the only movie of my parents and Martin O`Donnell at that age that I have ever seen. Kathy

When I was editing the videos, I couldn’t help but notice how handsome Marty O’Donnell was and without doubt Anne Marie & Marty O’Donnell must have been one of the most striking couples of the day, alongside Eileen and Jack Wintering! It was so much fun trying to figure out who is who in the videos. As Kathy points out, the older couple in The Farm video (ala suspenders, et al) is Martin and Bridget Carlin: (http://familysow.org/webtrees/individual.php?pid=I13&ged=sow.ged), Gaw’s parents from County Mayo, God help us, lol.

  Unfortunately, the SOW site may not be fully accessible via smartphone. The site incorporates text, audio and video files and WordPress theme layouts are not always compatible with smart phone operating systems. I strongly recommend visiting the site from a desktop system. It makes everything visible and much easier to navigate than on a smart phone.
